Create Your Own Wedding Book

Blurb.com is an online publishing site for creating your own wedding books.  This is a great way to utilize your wedding photos or to create a book of your photos with your fiance for a wedding shower.  It could also make a great gift for your registry.

Green weddings….with elegance

Green Wedding, Green WeddingsGreen Elegance Weddings is a great site dedicated to environmentally safe and socially responsible weddings while making sure your day is still what you dreamed it to be. You’ll find ideas for your wedding like green invitations, tips for your honeymoon and even gift ideas for your guests if you would rather they donate to a cause of your choice (so you may want to link from your wedding website as well). Check this site out to help answer your questions about how to incorporate the ‘green’ into your wedding.

Don’t need lots of useless wedding gifts? Ask for money.

reebles, wedding registry, wedding registriesSo as many wedding gifts are duplicates of items from other guests or stuff you already own, why not register for money? Reebles.com is offering a gift registry just for money. Rather than worry about cash, checks, gift cards and the like, have your guests give you money online. Guests can give you money gifts at Reebles who will then wire or send you the money on your wedding day (which is great if you plan to use the money for your honeymoon) The only down side is they take 8%, but it doesn’t cost your guests anything. It could be worth knowing the money you receive is safe and readily available and you can link to their registry directly from your wedding website (or use the inserts they’ll send you). Have a look.
