Don’t need lots of useless wedding gifts? Ask for money.
So as many wedding gifts are duplicates of items from other guests or stuff you already own, why not register for money? Reebles.com is offering a gift registry just for money. Rather than worry about cash, checks, gift cards and the like, have your guests give you money online. Guests can give you money gifts at Reebles who will then wire or send you the money on your wedding day (which is great if you plan to use the money for your honeymoon) The only down side is they take 8%, but it doesn’t cost your guests anything. It could be worth knowing the money you receive is safe and readily available and you can link to their registry directly from your wedding website (or use the inserts they’ll send you). Have a look.

Best gifts I got for my wedding were home improvement store gift cards. Everyone needs them. Money is nice, but it tends to go fast, where as gift cards are there when you needs them.
One other great option is the honeymoon registry, an increasingly mainstream registry option for engaged couples.
It is great to see how popular the honeymoon registry is becoming. When Traveler’s Joy first started accepting Members over four years ago, we realized there was a large number of engaged couples that were not satisfied with the diversity of the traditional wedding registry market. Since then, the honeymoon registry has become a mainstream option for brides and grooms and the industry has experienced significant growth.
We are proud to have helped thousands of couples travel to destinations they may never have considered - a great feeling for everyone at Traveler’s Joy.
I encourage you to contact us with any questions about our service. Most importantly, enjoy your honeymoon!
